About Me

​​I was born and raised in Buffalo. NY and moved to Schenectady 23 years ago. 

Working full time for daily newspapers for more than 3 decades has helped me hone my skills as a photographer.  From breaking news to high school and professional sports to taking portraits, and architectural work, I am constantly learning and progressing to get better every day.

3 Time National Press Photographers Association Region 2 Photographer of the Year 1992, 2008, 2009, encompassing all newspapers in New York State, Ontario, and Quebec.

2 time recipient of the Associated Press Bruce Cromie Award 2009 and 2013 for Excellence in News Photography.

My main objective is to capture moments that happen in an instant and that evoke an emotion. I have a keen sense for human behavior which helps me anticipate moments before they happen, and capture those moments as they unfold in front of me.  I am  a perfectionist through and through and always do my best to deliver what you are looking for in your photographs.
